The Japanese market is seen by VirtualCyte as one of it’s important target as we continue to push through the rest of 2018.


Recently, VirtualCyte and CyteCoin have presented their winning business case at Finwise Summit Tokyo 2018.

VirtualCyte’s CEO Peter Yu was interviewed by NHK Japan about CyteCoin and how it can revolutionize blockchain and VR/360/AR technologies together.


It is very evident that Japan has a very open and friendly outlook towards innovative technology like AR/VR, Fintech, BlockChain and CryptoCurrency making it a prime interest for lots of digital companies and even within traditional industries circles.


In comparison with Korea, the Japanese market has an even higher demand for AR/VR, blockchain, AI and it’s application to various commercial sectors targeting wide range of public audiences.

VirtualCyte also forged a strong collaboration with M-ON! Entertainment, a subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment by exploring together the best way to bring JPOP and engaging VR contents to overseas markets such as China and the SEA region.


VirtualCyte and M-ON! have began looking into the popular JPOP brand Nogizaka46 and Generations from Exile Tribe.

VirtualCyte also had a productive meeting with LINE Corporation to discuss about internet trends and the transition to the latest technology segments (AR/VR, Big Data and most importantly, Blockchain) in a variety of ways beneficial for both companies and it’s customers.

A collaborative meeting between JTB and VirtualCyte took place as they brainstormed on various strategies with the use of AR/VR as well as blockchain in their aim to introduce Japan as a unique travel destination, bringing the best travel experience to the world.
